When you question whether to pursue a master’s or a PhD or both it’s important to address the time commitment that each degree requires a master’s program is less time-consuming than a PhD in the sense that a full-time student doing a research-based master’s program typically completes the program in two to three years a PhD typically requires at least 4 to 7 years if not longer some students take up to eight or nine years to complete their program intertwined with the concept of time is money so when considering which program to pursue it’s realistic to.
